Sh8peshift Society is a sacred return—dedicated to preserving land as a living altar for healing and collective stewardship. Rooted in rematriation, we welcome all who are called to reconnect with the Earth, heal ancestral wounds, and reclaim their rightful place in relationship with the land. Through collective healing, we fall back into the rhythms of the earth, restore what was stolen, and reimagine liberation—not as a distant dream, but as a way of life.

We Are Displaced But Not Disconnected
As Afro-Indigenous descendants carrying the mitochondrial DNA of the first humans to walk the planet, we have been systematically excluded from indigeneity—even as borders, colonization, and the transatlantic slave trade tore us from Africa and oppressed us across the Americas. Our founding stewards, Black women from California (once part of Mexico), reject the label of "American" that locks us out of investment structures designed to favor Indigenous women; we join a grand migration of rematriation not with privilege, but in service, repairing the sacred lineages of the countless who came before us.

ONLINE WELLNESS APOTHECARY
Virtual membership bridging ancestral plant medicine with modern holistic healing. Members receive handcrafted wellness kits, herbal remedies, eco-friendly goods, community art, and virtual courses. All offerings integrate Eastern medical traditions, guided detoxes, biohacking modalities, and energetic healing practices, honoring both ancient wisdom and science.

WHY MEXICO
Mexico is not simply a destination for us; it is a living crossroads of Afro-Indigenous history and belonging. The oldest civilization in Mexico, the Olmecs, were Black. Mexico ended chattel slavery before the United States and became a historic sanctuary for enslaved Africans. Today, Mexico is home to over 2.5 million Afro-Mexicans and a thriving Black diaspora from the US, Canada, UK, Nigeria, Haiti, Cuba, and across Latin America. Our proposed site is located hours from Mexico City Airport with affordable flights, a simple six-month visa for US citizens, and a lower cost of living. Mexico allows us to show up not as tourists or colonizers, but as global citizens—rooted in reverence for its rich culture, food, music, and history, and committed to collective stewardship, not extraction.
